Lektor Decoder
SMERSH From Russia with Love 1963
007 is sent on a mission to recover the Lektor, a top-secret,
Soviet decoding machine, from Tatiana Romanava, a Russian
defector.
After M verifies its authenticity from Tatiana's description, Bond and Kerim Bey set a bomb beneath the emabassy. 007 escapes through the underground canals with Tatiana and the Lektor. On the Orient Express, 007 finds out that SPECTRE is behind the entire scheme. Tatiana unknowingly played the bait to get 007 to steal the Lektor for them. Bond narrowly escapes termination from Red Grant, posing as another British agent, and takes down a SPECTRE helicopter also sent to recover the Lektor. In Venice, Bond and Tatiana make preparations to leave their hotel room and head back to London with the Lektor. Rosa Klebb, posing as a maid, holds Bond at gunpoint as she heads out with the machine. Tatiana, however, aids 007 in defeating Klebb, and finally, the Lektor heads back to MI6. |

Models: Ray Dream 3D
Textures: Ray Dream 3D Rendering Engine: Ray Dream 3D This fairly simple model only took me a couple of hours to get it this far. The only thing yet left to model is the handle on top of the case. I hope to work on the textures soon also, as right now, I've used pretty solid colors. I did not have much reference to build the Lektor, as you only see the case open in the movie for two quick shots: 1) When Bond steals it from the Russian Embassy, and 2) sitting on the table at the hotel in Venice. If you have any other resources that may be of help, please email me. Back to Lektor Decoder |
